An attempt at delivery within Qatar will be made as soon as possible
after posting and certainly within 24 hours. Arrangements for delivery
to addressees outside Doha will be under the same conditions as for
addressees within Doha. Items will not be delivered through any
local Postal Branch except with the senders permission.
Any
item not delivered within Qatar after 2 delivery attempts within 48
hours of posting, and within 72 hours outside Doha will have a
notification put inside the addressees PO Box. If still
undelivered after a further 7 days the item will be returned to the
sender with an explanation why delivery was not effected
A receipt
for each delivery will be obtained. Delivery will be made only
on production of a relevant identity document. The addressee’s
identity details will be entered on the Proof of Delivery slip (POD).
The POD slips will be forwarded to the sender before 1400 daily or by
any other mutually agreed time based on experience of using the
service.
Items
must be delivered only to the addressee. The sender must provide
delivery and contact details for any person authorized to
accept delivery on behalf of another person, for example a VIP who is
not available to personally sign the POD.
