The 31st meeting for GCC Postal chairmen’s in Jeddah on Wed, May 18, 2016

Qatar Postal Services Company has participated in the 31st meeting for GCC Postal organization, which was held recently in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics about postal sector, as they have agreed of the future action plan to be submitted to the ICT Ministerial Committee for approval and start of implementation.

The committee also has decided during the meeting to form a working group consisting of technical and legal experts to review the amendments of t Regulations of the system and the law unified regulator of the activity of private companies and institutions working in the express mail services and parcels, and another team for e commerce services.

On the sidelines of the meeting was the opening of the Gulf exhibition of stamps, which includes the most prominent collectibles and historical versions and currencies, as well as the memorial to the most important stamps in the Gulf events. Within this context They have visited the Prince Makkah Region Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, who expressed his thanks to the GCC postal organization and confirmed the need for integration between the Arab countries also signed a memorandum between Saudi Post ,Q-Post delegation headed by Mr. Faleh Al Naemi, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director.
